How : Erick Brenes had a pair of goals and Alejandro Paniagua scored the other for the defending champions from Costa Rica (1-0-0), which was the only nation to open Group B with a victory after Curacao and Cuba played to a 1-1 draw.
Summary : In 8 May, 2016, San Jose, Costa Rica the Canadian team has never won since the Futsal World Cup in 1989. Now the Canadian team has won the Costa Rica team and they will have a match against each other this Monday.
